Train
Many Spanish resorts are connected with the capital of Catalonia by railway connection. But to get from the airport of Barcelona to Cambrils you will have to transfer, because there is no direct train. At first you should go by an electric train C2, it goes to the main railway station of Barcelona – BARCELONA-Sants.
It departs from the terminal T-2 of air station every 30 minutes (from 6 am to almost midnight), you can buy ticket at the station in the terminal or in the booking office. It costs 3.8 euro, the trip will take you no more than 20 minutes. There are local electric trains and speed train that go from BARCELONA-Sants to Cambrils. You can find the bus stop near terminal T-1 on the 0 level (in arrival hall) near the gates 7-11. You can book your bus ticket beforehand on the official site of travel company or ask the driver to buy it (in this case you should have small cash, because there can be no change), it costs 15 euro (children till 4 go free). The trip will take you about 2-2.5 hour.
Hiring a car
Tourists could also be drivers and get to Cambrils themselves by hired car. The daily hiring costs minimum 35-40 euro and you also should spend about 20 euro for gasoline. To hire a car you should have international license, driving experience more than 3 years and the driver should be older, than 21 years old. There are few offices of companies in the airport of Barcelona, that can offer you such kind of service as hiring a car and it will be easy to find them. Booking transfer
