Monkey Island near Nha Trang city – phototour

How to get to Monkey Island but is it worth to get there? Check small photo report about trip to this island. It is called Hon Lao through local people, but tourists call it just Monkey Island. Persons wishing to have an excursion to this island can get it and it won’t be more expensive than 20$ (it is price for few islands), but you can also make it easier and just hire bike and get yourself to dock, where there is cutter, that goes to this island.

Prices and Opinions

It was earlier said, that excursion will cost in any tour company about 20$ per person. It includes few islands, rest on the beach and walk by Hon Lao. Also it includes the price for trip by cutter, that will take you to these islands.

Advanced tourists can hire bike and get to dock themselves. It is about 18 km. Then we leave our bike on rank and go and buy tickets. You can buy tickets by your arrival in 35 000 – 70 000 VND, but you also can visit Orchid Island as once and other islands in 100 000 – 350 000 VND.

Is it worth to go there?

Surely yes! When you visit this island, you can:

See many monkeys in one place
Watch show with different animals
Take wonderful pics with monkeys and feed them

Prices and comments

The entrance to this park costs about 600 000 dong. In this price are included: passage, all swings and water attraction, rest on the beach (deck-chairs etc). Should you go to Vinpearl? Of course you should! The main advantages:

Many different water attractions only for brave tourists
Swimming pool for children and adults
Proper beach with clean sand and water

The ticket to enter Vinpearl you can find near entrance or book beforehand in touristic agencies of Nha Trang or you can ask many other agents. The price is about 590-600 thousand dongs. The island and continent are connected by cable-way.

How to get to Vinpeal

There is nothing easier if you live in Nha Trang: you can get there by can or by bus. You will need bus number 4. The price at this moment is 7000 dong. It will take you about 15 minutes to get from the centre of Nha Trang. It is not difficult to find bus station, but if you like comfort you should take a cab. The price will be about 50-70 dong.

Po Nagar Cham Towers in Nha Trang is amazing monument of ancient times. They are temples that were built in the time of existence of commonwealth that is called Champa, during 7-12 centuries A. D. You can see this temple from the main bridge in Nha Trang so that’s why this place attracts so many tourists.

These towers are situated on the mountain Cu Lao and besides wonderful views this place can surprise you with wonderful energy. It’s real pleasure to come here and spend one hour or two, sitting on the bench and rest. The entrance to the temples cost about 20 000 dong. You can get there from the town quickly and cheap by bus №4. You can get there also by cab, but it will cost you about 30 – 60 000 dong.

You can get there on foot, using one of the bridges.

The distance to the temple will be about 2-4 kilometers (it depends on where you will start your way).

While you are walking on the bridge, you feel fresh air from the sea and you already can see Po Nagar (from the left side).

If you are going on the small bridge, the temples will be closer to you.

It looks nobly and these steps use palmers and the faithful for decades of years.
